Enrico Sacchetti was born in Rome and studied at the Instituto Technico before apprenticing with the painter Gelati in Florence.
He began his professional career as an illustrator and caricaturist for several Milanese journals. He later moved to Buenos Aires where he worked as an illustrator for the newspaper El Diario. After 1911 he returned to Europe and worked in Paris as a fashion designer and illustrator.
Sacchetti achieved recognition for his posters, postcards and superb graphic designs.
