Lubin Paul Gaston de Beauvais was a French artist and illustrator active during La Belle Époque.  He studied at the renowned École des Beaux Arts de Paris and began his career as a cartoonist and illustrator of children’s books.  His work was sometimes signed Gabriel de Laumont.
