Marie-Édmée Nel-Cougny was a French painter and watercolorist. She was a member of and exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Française since 1914. Her daughter, Colette Allendy, continued the artistic tradition as a pioneering female gallerist with an emphasis on emerging artists.
