Willette, Adolphe

Known primarily as a caricaturist, Adolphe Willette was a classically trained artist at the École des Beaux Arts in Paris. Not only was he a frequent contributor to political and satirical publications he also worked as an architect and decorator of the famous Moulin Rouge cabaret.
As a print maker, Willette was a specialist in lithography and his imagery is often rather naughty and very funny at the same time.
